I have been creating works using familiar materials such as fibers, but I feel that there are still many commonplace everyday items where people recognize the item itself but are not consciously aware of it. At first glance, my works may appear to be made with special materials, but the more familiar the materials are in daily life, the greater the surprise and interest in the materials when encountering the materials in a form that is detached from typical recognition.

これまで身近な繊維素材を用いて制作をしてきたが、日常にありふれたものであっても「そのものの認識はしているが意識はされていない」ものが多いのではないかと思う。私の作品は一見、特殊な素材で作られているようであるが、それが日常において馴染みのものであればあるほど、その認識から"解放された形"に出合った時、新鮮な驚きと共にそのものへの興味につながるのではないかと考えている。​​​
